DON'T COOK YOUR COFFEE! Transfer your freshly brewed coffee to this high quality stainless steel double walled insulated carafe. This has Thermos' TherMax insulation technology build in between the two stainless steel walls. It holds 1.9 liters (64 oz.) of coffee, and will keep it hot for up to 6 hours. (With a starting temperature of 203 degrees, liquids kept inside for 6 hours, will still be 180 degrees.)WOW, what thermal retention! It has a nice erognomic open handle, and a direct brew-in stopper, which allows direct brewing from a commerical brewer without removing the lid. (Vertical clearance would have to be 11 inches.) The outside finish is brushed stainless; it comes in it's own giftbox with a 5 year warranty from Thermos.
